As you explore the mountain side you will find 2 spring fed creeks, over 26 natural springs, wild blackberry bushes, blueberry bushes, the remains of 2 Civil War era chimneys, a field of daffodils, hill sides full of Mountain Laurel, Dogwoods. Throughout you will find several different logging roads that would make a great trail system. From the back corner of this lot you can hike about a mile to Amicolola Falls (old road can be found on historical maps)and the beginning of the Appalachian Trail.
